"Continue to draw strength from the Yan'an Spirit" is part of Comrade Xi Jinping's speech at the end of his inspection tour in Shaanxi on February 15th, 2015. Xi pointed out that Yan'an is an old revolutionary base. During the Yan'an era, the Party led China's revolutionary cause to rise from the bottom, achieved glorious achievements and a historic transformation. The Yan'an spirit is about sticking to the correct political orientation, emancipating the mind and seeking truth from facts, serving the people wholeheartedly, and working hard in a spirit of self-reliance. The Yan'an spirit together with the fine tradition and work style of our forefathers are the precious spiritual wealth of our party. Today, to comprehensively govern the Party with strict discipline, we should continue to draw strength from the Yan'an spirit.
