Research areas of interest:

Over 20 years of research experience in the fields of

– ion and plasma modification of the surface properties of solids;

– physical vapor deposition (PVD) technique including cathodic arc plasma deposition and magnetron sputter deposition of hard coatings;

– phase composition, structure, elements redistribution, surface phenomena, hardness, tribological and corrosion properties of PVD binary, ternary and quaternary metal-nitride coatings.
