On September 24, 2025, a meeting for foreign faculty of DBJI for the 2025-2026 autumn semester was held. All foreign faculty of the institute who are currently in Dalian, together with Wu Heng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean, and Na Xiao, Head of administration office, attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Professor Ji Shunying, Secretary of the Directly Affiliated Party Branch and Dean of DBJI.

At the meeting, Ji Shunying first extended a warm welcome to the foreign faculty and thanked them for their contributions to the development of the institute. Afterwards, Ji Shunying systematically reviewed the fruitful achievements made by the institute in talent cultivation, scientific research and other fields since its establishment in 2017. He emphasized that the institute attaches great importance to the work and life of foreign faculty, and will continue to optimize the allocation of teaching resources and provide more comprehensive academic support and development opportunities. Ji Shunying also specifically pointed out that the institute will make every effort to advance the joint scientific research work under the Belt and Road Joint Laboratory Framework, and encourage foreign faculty to actively participate in it, so as to jointly build a high-level international platform for scientific research cooperation.

During the exchange session, the participating foreign faculty expressed their gratitude to the institute for its long-term support, and unanimously agreed that the scientific research conditions and cross-cultural working environment provided by the institute have provided strong guarantees for their teaching and scientific research work. The meeting helped the institute better understand the needs of foreign faculty and further improve the level of the institute's internationalized school-running.
