To deepen China-Belarus Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation and promote collaborative innovation in the field of Industrial Equipment and Instruments, a delegation of 7 experts from Belarusian State University, Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and The Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus visited DBJI on November 26, 2025, to join a special seminar and exchange on the China-Belarus Belt and Road Joint Laboratory on Industrial Equipment and Instruments (hereinafter referred to as the "China-Belarus Belt and Road Joint Laboratory"). The meeting was chaired by Professor Ji Shunying, Secretary of the Direct Party Branch and Dean of DBJI.

At the seminar, Ji Shunying gave a detailed introduction to the phased achievements of DBJI in scientific research and international talent training, focusing on the key research directions and the development of related disciplines of the China-Belarus Belt and Road Joint Laboratory. He stated that DBJI has always taken serving the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road" as its mission. In the future, through joint participation in collaborative projects, mutual exchange of young research teams and other means, it will further deepen the industry-university-research collaboration between the two countries in the fields of high-end manufacturing and precision instruments.
Representatives from Belarusian State University, Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and The Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus expressed high recognition of this. They introduced Belarus' profound scientific research accumulation and industry-university integration experience in the field of industrial equipment. Belarus has a solid theoretical foundation and engineering practice capabilities in heavy machinery, navigation and communication instruments, micro-nano satellite and other areas. The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus has long maintained close cooperation with the industrial sector, forming an efficient industry-university-research cooperation model.
In the future, the institutes from both countries will take the China-Belarus Belt and Road Joint Laboratory as a platform, give full play to their respective advantages in basic research, technological development and industrial application, carry out pragmatic cooperation around joint research on key technologies, co-construction of standards and joint talent training, jointly promote the transformation and application of innovative achievements under the framework of the "Belt and Road", and continue to build a model of China-Belarus scientific and technological cooperation.
