At the start of the new semester, DBJI held a spring semester orientation session for its international faculty on March 6, 2026, which also served as a celebration of International Women's Day. The event was attended by Prof. Gao Junfeng and Prof. Ma Donghan, Vice Deans of DBJI, along with staff from the general office and teaching management. Seven foreign faculty members from Belarusian State University attended the meeting, where they had in-depth exchanges on their working experience in China, teaching-related issues and reflections on future work.

At the meeting, Gao Junfeng briefly introduced the key priorities of the institute's teaching work for the new semester. He emphasized that the institute would continue to optimize the allocation of teaching resources and improve the teaching quality assurance system. He encouraged foreign faculty to introduce innovative teaching methods and strengthen classroom engagement, so as to jointly promote the systematic improvement of the institute's international teaching quality.

In the discussion, Ma Donghan stated that DBJI would further establish a sound, regular and institutionalized communication mechanism between teachers and students, and strengthen two-way exchanges. She expressed the hope that foreign faculty would take an active part in students' academic guidance. She noted that DBJI would collect and give feedback on opinions and suggestions in the teaching process in a timely manner, jointly foster an open, inclusive and interactive teaching atmosphere, and support the all-round development of students and the high-quality development of the institute.

The attending foreign faculty expressed gratitude for DBJI's long-standing care and support, and stated their commitment to fully engaging in the new semester's teaching and contributing to enhancing students' international competitiveness. As 2026 is designated the Year of Women by the Republic of Belarus, and on the occasion of the upcoming International Women's Day, DBJI extended festive greetings to all female faculty members, showing its continuous attention to women's career development.

The meeting laid a solid foundation for the new semester’s work and strengthened the foreign faculty's sense of belonging and team cohesion. It demonstrated DBJI's commitment to its international teaching staff and its emphasis on faculty development. Moving forward, DBJI will continue to refine foreign faculty services and management, striving to build a more open, inclusive, and collaborative international education community.
