On March 2, the undergraduate teaching programs for the 2026 Spring Semester officially commenced at DBJI. With a focus on refined teaching management and an international educational framework, the Institute ensured a smooth and robust start to the new academic term. Both faculty and students have embraced the semester with energy and dedication.
To ensure high-quality teaching delivery, Prof. Gao Junfeng, the vice dean of DBJI, along with the teaching management team, conducted thorough inspections of classroom operations. They paid close attention to faculty instruction and student engagement. They had warm exchanges with faculty and students to learn about course preparation, classroom interaction, and logistical support. On the first day of the semester, all instructors arrived on time, fully prepared. Lessons unfolded smoothly with active participation, reflecting the professionalism and vibrant spirit of DBJI community.
This semester, 17 faculty members from Belarusian State University (“BSU”) will arrive at Dalian University of Technology (“DUT”) to teach in person. They will be involved in core specialized courses, intensive language training, and academic frontier lectures, helping students solidify their foundational knowledge and broaden their international academic horizons. DBJI will further promote collaborative curriculum development between Chinese and international faculty, optimize course systems, and strengthen practice-based learning.
In advancing its international talent development strategy, the Institute continues to promote multifaceted interactions and research collaboration between Chinese and Belarusian students. Six exchange students from BSU-DUT Joint Institute of BSU have already arrived on campus. They will take courses and participate in innovation practice projects alongside their Chinese peers. This blending of diverse cultural backgrounds not only energizes classroom dynamics but also injects new vitality into youth exchanges and the building of a shared academic community between China and Belarus.
As spring signals a fresh start, DBJI remains committed to innovation through integration and shared success through cooperation. Faculty and students alike are moving forward with confidence and drive, writing another inspiring chapter in the new semester.
