On the afternoon of July 21,in order to further improve the level and quality of our school's Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, an online video conference on the joint training of masters and doctors was held between our school and the Belarusian State University (BSU). President Guo Dongming pointed out that the current educational cooperation between the two schools is of great significance to both China and Belarus. He also said that carrying out joint training at the postgraduate level and launching a number of international cooperation projects on this basis would open up new channels for continuing to promote Sino-Belarusian scientific research cooperation.

President Koror stated that the BSU fully recognized the importance of cooperation between the two sides. Although the two sides have many differences in education systems and degree awards, Belarus firmly believed that these obstacles can be overcome and was willing to work with DUT to provide all support and guarantee for an international talent training and scientific research cooperation.

At the meeting, the two parties conducted in-depth discussions on specific work such as the joint training model for masters and doctors, application procedures, and arrangements for academic exchanges for graduate students. After the meeting, the presidents of the two parties formally signed the "DUT-BSU Joint Training and Cooperation Agreement for Postgraduate Students", the "DUT-BSU Joint Training and Cooperation Agreement for Doctoral Students" and their annexes.

Since its establishment in 2017, the DUT-BSU Joint Institute has been highly valued and supported by the two universities and the governments of the two countries. Expanding the cooperation in running schools at the graduate level between China and Belarus will further strengthen the educational exchanges and cooperation between the two countries, and cultivate more high-level and international talents.
