On the afternoon of June 10th(Beijing time), the Fourth Conference of the Joint Management Committee of DUT-BSU Joint Institute and the Second Conference of the Joint Management Committee of BSU-DUT Joint Institute was held in the form of video conference. Guo Dongming, President of DUT and Andrei Karol, Rector of BSU, Zhu Hong, Vice President of DUT, Luo Zhongxuan, Principle Assistant of DUT, Dmitry Medvedev, First Vice-rector of BSU, and Konstantin Kozadaev, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Internationalization of Education of BSU attended the conference. The conference was chaired by Luo Zhongxuan.
The conference deliberated and approved the Work Report for the 2020-2021 Academic Year,the Work Plan Report for the 2021-2022 Academic Year of DUT-BSU Joint Institute and the Financial Budget for the 2020-2021 Academic Year of DUT-BSU Joint Institute. After negotiation, the two universities signed the Supplementary Agreement on Cooperation in Running Schools (II) of the Joint College of DUT-BSU Joint Institute,and reached consensus on Cooperative education related matters.
Guo Dongmingand Andrei Karol both said that the cooperation between the two universities has achieved remarkable results. In particular, in the face of the impact of COVID-19, both sides have been pushing forward the work with a sincere attitude and made great efforts to ensure the normal operation ofthe two joint institutes. Both of Guo Donming and Andrei Karol are full of expectations for the development of the two universities and their future. It is believed that with full exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, the comprehensive cooperation between the two universities will be elevated to a new level and make new contributions to the friendship between China and Belarus.
Heads of Academic Affairs Office, International Office, Finance Office, Asset Management Office, Graduate School and other departments of DUT as well as teachers' representatives from relevant faculties attended the conference.
