The appointment ceremony for Chinese teachers of the BSU-DUT Joint Institute of Belarusian State University(hereinafterreferred to as "BDJI") was held in DUT-BSU Joint Institute on September 17. Liu Zhijun, director of Academic Affairs office of DUT, Ji Shunying, president of DBJI, principals of Academic Affairs Office and relevant departments, as well as appointed teachers attended the ceremony.
Ji Shunying announced the appointment of Associate Professor Lv Yongtao of Faculty of Vehicle Engineering and Mechanics, Associate Professor Zhang Xinxing of the School of Physics, and Associate Professor Chen Zhen of the School of Economics and Management as the teachers of relevant professional courses in BDJI for three years. Liu Zhijun presented the letter of appointment to the teachers.
Ji Shunying expressed his heartfelt thanks to the three teachers. He hoped that they could give full play to their advantages and contribute to the teaching, scientific research and talent cultivation of both universities.
Liu Zhijun said that BDJI is the first overseas educational institution of DUT, and the selection of teachers to teachin BDJI has created a new mode of overseas education of DUT. He would like to express his gratitude to the teachers and the relevant departments. DUT will serve as the solid backing of the teachers to ensure the smooth development of international cooperation in running schools.
The recruited teachers expressed their great honor to be the first batch of Chinese teachers to teach in BDJI. In the future, they will further strengthen the communication between the two schools with a new identity, promote comprehensive and in-depth cooperation, provide support for talent cultivation of the two schools, and realize resource sharing and win-win development.
In the end, the participating teachers had in-depth discussions and exchanges on the faculty construction, scientific research cooperation, personnel training, textbook reform and other contents, which laid a foundation for the all-round cooperation and common development of China and Belarus in the future.
