In the early morning of October 15, Wang Ting, who was the first student funded by the "China-Belarus International Cooperative Research and Talent Cultivation Project of Science and Engineering" sponsored by China Scholarship Council, arrived at the Minsk National Airport of Belarus successfully.
Associate Proffessor Denis Marmysh, vice-dean of DUT-BUS Joint Institute, has already asked DBJI faculty office members for details of students' flights, communicated and planned to greet Wang Ting. On the night of 14th, Minsk time, Denis finally met with this DUT student successfully and conveyed the good news to the staff DBJI immediately. Wang said it is always uneasy to set foot on a strange land, especially during the epidemic. She felt very warm when she met Denis which greatly relieved her fatigue and anxiety during the journey.
Students approved to study for master's degree will also be sent to Belarusian State University in November this year. Denis understands the difficulties students face when they come to live and study in a foreign city for the first time. He said that he would welcome all the students and provide timely help for them to arrive safely and smoothly on campus, so that the new students could feel the care of both DUT and BSU, as well as the warmth of home in a foreign land.
DUT-BSU Joint Institute will escort students to study abroad safely through a series of heart-warming projects such as comprehensive and meticulous work preparation, warm and intimate humanistic care, so that students can feel the love from DUT no matter where they are, so that they can have a heart to rely on and walk forward.
