Recently, the third chairmen meeting of the Joint Committee of Chinese-Foreign Cooperative Education was held in Sydney Business School, Shanghai University, at which the “2024 Excellent Case of institutions of Chinese-Foreign Cooperative Education” was formally released, and DUT-BSU Joint Institute was selected as one of the Top 20 excellent cases of Chinese-Foreign Cooperative Educational Institutions.

The selection and promotion of excellent cases of Chinese-foreign cooperative education are aimed at summarizing the educational effectiveness, leading the practice of school running, improving the quality of school running, promoting and sharing the successful experience, promoting the construction of “Double First Class”, and establishing a leading brand of Chinese-foreign cooperative education with Chinese characteristics and international consensus, continuously shaping new dynamics and advantages for the development of Chinese-foreign cooperative education, injecting new vitality for the opening up of China's high-level education to the outside world.

DUT-BSU Joint Institute is a major initiative of Dalian University of Technology to implement the Educational Action to Promote the Construction of “One Belt, One Road” proposed by Ministry of Education of China, to optimize the structure of academic disciplines, to enhance the level of internationalization, and to build a “Double-First Class”. It is the first cooperative educational institution between China and Belarus that covers multi-level joint training of undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students. In 2022, it was elected as the president unit in the third term of the Joint Committee of Chinese-Foreign Cooperative Educational Institutions. After seven years of development and practice, the institute has achieved leapfrog development in cooperative education, especially in the integrated talent training system of bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctoral degree, as well as the peer-to-peer education mode with BSU-DUT Joint Institute, which has set a model of China-Belarus cooperation in the field of education. The institute will continue to work hard to shoulder the responsibility and mission of building a bridge of friendship between China and Belarus, and to write a new chapter for the cooperation in education, science and technology, and talents between the two universities!
