Students of DUT-BSU Joint Institute’s 2025 Long-Term Exchange Program Arrive in Belarus for Academic Exchange

To deepen higher education collaboration between China and Belarus and advance high-level talent cultivation under the Belt and Road Initiative, the DUT-BSU Joint Institute selected four outstanding master's and doctoral students, including Wu Qiyuan, for a three-month exchange program at Belarusian State University (BSU) from March 17 to June 20, 2025. The program covers disciplines such as mechanics, applied mathematics, and condensed matter physics, marking a substantive step in joint graduate-level training between the two institutions.

Upon their arrival in Belarus, the students were warmly welcomed by their Belarusian supervisors, who engaged in detailed discussions on specific research collaboration plans. Representatives from BSU praised the students from the DBJI for their solid theoretical foundation and outstanding research competence, expressing confidence that the exchange would yield innovative ideas and fruitful outcomes for both sides.

This long-term exchange program is a key initiative by DBJI to align with China’s Belt and Road Initiative and promote international education. DBJI will continue to strengthen cooperation with BSU and other global universities, building high-level international platforms to nurture top-tier talents with global perspectives and innovative capabilities. These efforts will further contribute to scientific collaboration and cultural exchanges between China and Belarus. DBJI will also closely monitor the students’ academic and living conditions abroad, providing comprehensive support to ensure the program’s success and the achievement of substantial results.
