Students from DUT-BSU Joint Institute Approved for 2022 China Scholarship Council's Government-sponsored Overseas Study Program Scholarship

2022-06-17

Recently, the China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as CSC) has successively announced the review results of the scholarship programs for students in the "Project for Promoting International Cooperation with Russia, Ukraine and Belarus" and the "Professional Talent Training Program for Russia, Ukraine and Belarus" in 2022. All nine candidates recommended and submitted by our institute have been approved to pursue postgraduate studies at Belarusian State University under the government-sponsored overseas study program, with an admission rate of 100%. Among them, four students participated in the "Project for Promoting International Cooperation with Russia, Ukraine and Belarus" in 2022, and five students participated in the "Professional Talent Training Program for Russia, Ukraine and Belarus". During their study abroad, students can receive support such as international travel expenses and living expenses provided by the CSC. Previously, several students from DUT-BSU Joint Institute have already received funding from the "Project for Promoting International Cooperation with Russia, Ukraine and Belarus" to study further abroad.

DUT-BSU Joint Institute’s active encouragement of students to apply for the scholarships provided by the CSC for studying at Belarusian State University is an important practice in the in-depth implementation of the "Belt and Road Initiative". It is of great significance for further deepening the educational exchanges and cooperation between the universities and the countries along the Belt and Road, promoting the participation of faculty and students of our university in international exchanges and cooperation at a higher level and in broader fields, and enhancing the international educational capabilities and the quality of talent cultivation of the university.
