To conduct in-depth academic exchanges, foster a favorable academic atmosphere, and stimulate the vitality of scientific research and innovation, DUT-BSU Joint Institute successfully held the 2nd "Young Scientists Forum" from November 16th to 23rd. The forum was divided into two sub-forums in the specialties of Mechanics & Mathematics and Physics & Optics. The sub-forums were respectively chaired by Gao Junfeng and Denis Marmysh, both Vice-Directors of DUT-BSU Joint Institute. Twenty young scholars from the Dalian University of Technology and Belarusian State University delivered academic reports.

The young scholars participating in this forum were postgraduate and senior undergraduate students from DUT-BSU Joint Institute and Belarusian State University. They actively shared their latest research findings and academic insights in their respective fields. While presenting their own research results, they also enhanced other participants' understanding of the research progress at each other's universities, further laying the foundation for future cooperation. After the reports, the two sides further carried out active discussions. These discussions not only demonstrated the breadth and depth of scientific research at the two universities but also reflected the enthusiasm and unique perspectives of the scholars in their research areas, jointly fueling the collision and exchange of academic ideas.

The successful holding of the 2nd Sino-Belarusian "Young Scientists Forum" has provided extensive academic exchange and cooperation opportunities for young students from both countries. The students have not only enriched their scientific research experience but also improved their academic levels. Going forward, it is believed that young scientists from the two universities could achieve a win-win outcome via cooperation, thus making greater contributions to the development of scientific undertakings in both countries. Meanwhile, it is expected that the future “Young Scientists Forum” will continue to facilitate exchanges and cooperation in related fields, injecting new impetus and vitality into scientific progress.
