As the graduation anthem resounds in June, youth sets sail for new journeys. On the morning of June 13, the 2025 Graduation Ceremony and Degree Conferral Ceremony of DBJI were grandly held in DUT International Convention Center. Ji Shunying, Dean of DBJI; Gao Junfeng, Vice Dean of DBJI; Zheng Yonggang, Vice Dean of the School of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering; Chen Xiaoming, Vice Dean of the School of Optoelectronic Engineering and Instrument Science; Han Yongchang, Vice Dean of the School of Physics; Ding Man, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Languages; Liudmila Liashenka, Dean of the BSU-DUT Joint Institute; Dzianis Marmysh, Vice Dean of DBJI; members of the DBJI's supervision team, representatives of faculty members, all 115 graduates, and parent representatives gathered together to witness this significant moment. The ceremony was presided over by Wu Heng, Vice Dean of DBJI.

The ceremony officially commenced with the solemn national anthem. During the degree awarding ceremony, the joint faculty team from China and Belarus respectively turned the tassels, awarded degree certificates, and took group photos with all 2025 graduates.

On behalf of the Institute, Ji Shunying congratulated the 86 undergraduate graduates and 29 first batch of master's graduates on completing their studies, and expressed sincere respect and gratitude to the teachers who had nurtured them and the parents who had dedicated themselves. He stated that DBJI has always kept in mind the glorious mission of cultivating international and high-level talents for the country, achieved "mutual engagement" in the educational process of "bringing in" and "going global", continuously promoted educational cooperation and exchanges between China and Belarus, and helped solidify the "all-weather" friendship between the two countries.

At this graduation moment, Ji Shunying put forward three expectations for the graduating DBJI students:
Be dream-chasers with a patriotic heart. Always remember the original aspiration of "studying to serve the country", align personal growth with national strategic needs, and shine in key areas of China-Belarus cooperation.
Be progress-driven strivers. In this era of accelerating scientific and technological revolution, maintain a lifelong learning attitude, deepen expertise in professional fields, and tackle future challenges with solid knowledge.
Be promoters of cultural mutual learning. As internationally cultivated talents from the Sino-Belarusian joint education, root in the fertile soil of Chinese culture while possessing global competence, becoming a bridge to promote exchanges between China, Belarus, and even the world.
Victor Kochyn, Vice Rector of Belarusian State University, sent best wishes and earnest expectations to the 2025 graduates via a recorded video. He stated that the study experience at DBJI will surely help everyone achieve remarkable achievements in the future, and hoped that graduates would scale new heights in life and contribute to deepening the friendship and cooperation between the two peoples.

Dzianis Marmysh, Vice Dean of DBJI, stated that through the deep cooperation and joint cultivation of both China and Belarus, the 2025 graduates of DBJI have successfully completed their studies. In-class joint teaching by Chinese and foreign faculty and shared resources in practical activities have enabled the integration of knowledge and culture here. These experiences are not only stepping stones for professional growth but also carriers of the expectations for Sino-Belarusian friendship. May DBJI graduates build bricks for the friendly relations between the two nations, ensuring the friendship carries forward and flourishes.

Sang Chaofeng, a faculty representative from the School of Physics, stated that graduation is not an end but a starting point of a new journey. Wu Xiaoqing, a graduate representative from the Class of 2021 majoring in Applied Physics, said she would keep these teachings close to heart, take up the mission of strengthening the country and rejuvenating the nation in the new era, strive to become an explorer of the unknown, a builder of the new era, and a practitioner of "erudition and earnest practice" - letting the world feel the strength of Chinese youth.

Wang Xiangjin, a representative of DBJI's inaugural batch of master's graduates from the Class of 2022 majoring in Engineering Mechanics, shared his graduation reflections: "Three years of study have steeled our resolve that, whether at the cutting edge of science and technology or at the grassroots level, we must carry the spiritual torch of Dalian University of Technology. Our mission is to apply academic expertise to solve real-world problems, embodying the unity of knowledge and action. As the first cohort of master's graduates from DBJI, we are ready to bid farewell to Dalian University of Technology and embark on new professional or academic journeys. The road ahead is long, and while we may not know when we'll reunite, the bond between teachers and students and the affection for this institute will forever anchor our hearts.
